Food and Water Intake
¨ Food should be limited to vegetables, fruits, and grains 24 hours or more before a colonic.
¨ Water consumption should equal 6—8 glasses per day leading up to the colonic.
¨ Light foods and small portion sizes should be eaten on the day of the colonic.
¨ Avoid eating food 2 hours before the colonic.
¨ Avoid drinking all carbonated beverages before the colonic.
¨ If under medical supervision, disregard the above statements and follow recommended dietary guidelines.

¨ Consume plenty of liquids excluding carbonated beverages.
¨ Consult with your provider or local health food store on a probiotic to assist the good bacteria in the colon.
¨ Eat soft foods, like soups, or cooked vegetables and raw fruit for 24 hours after a colonic.
¨ Reduce meat consumption.
¨ Avoid gas-producing foods.
